Some people make things beautiful.
Ruh Ling makes things true.
For over a decade, she has brought that quality of attention to LinkedIn, the Center for Humane Technology, and Common Sense Media — and to founders at the earliest, most uncertain stages of becoming.
Her work spans art direction, brand strategy, illustration, and UX. What moves through all of it is the same thing: a capacity to listen into what an organization most deeply is, before it knows how to say it, and give that form.
She came to this the same way she came to poetry, by staying in the friction long enough for something true to cohere.
The illustrations, the songs, the book in progress — are the same gesture, turned inward. The same listening. The same willingness to stay in the space between what is and what's trying to arrive.
